— Coming off his historic performance at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, former Arkansas athlete Jarrion Lawson has been signed to Asics' largest endorsement deal ever for a male athlete, according to an ESPN report.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed in the report. Lawson told ESPN that the contract includes financial incentives such as bonuses for event wins.

Lawson won three individual national championships (long jump, 100 and 200 meters) at the NCAA outdoor meet earlier this month and was also part of the Razorbacks third-place 400 meter relay team.

His 31.5 points broke a 31-year-old NCAA meet record set by former Arkansas athlete Mike Conley. Lawson was the first athlete to win three individual titles since Jesse Owens in 1936.

Since the meet, Lawson has been named one of three finalists for The Bowerman - college track's most prestigious individual awards - and has been nominated for an ESPY Award as the best college male athlete. In addition to his outdoor performance, Lawson won the NCAA long jump championship indoors earlier this year.

Lawson is scheduled to participate in the U.S. Olympic trials this week in Eugene, Ore., on the same track as the NCAA outdoor meet.
