The Burger Lift
The Burger Lift

Has this ever happened to you?

You've toiled over the grill or stove top, lovingly putting together your signature burger. The juicy patty is nestled in a bun and topped with your favorite condiments. Other goodies are layered on and you can barely contain yourself as you grasp the bun and raise the glorious creation to your mouth for that perfect first bite.

But then the unthinkable happens. As you reach to pick the burger up for that second bite you realize the bottom bun is soggy. The same juices you worked so hard to keep inside your patty have escaped and made a mess.

But there is hope and its name is The Burger Lift. It's a round platform, about a quarter-inch tall and 4 inches across, made to hold your burger above the juices or toppings that slide off onto your plate. And it really works.

It would work just as well with a variety of sandwiches and is compact enough to go with you to restaurants when eating out.

The Burger Lift is sold in sets of four in plastic ($10.99) or stainless steel ($24.99). We tried both, and while they worked equally well, we prefer the metal version for its sturdiness. Both are dishwasher safe.
