Drew Ledbetter, criminal-law attorney, was named a 2016 American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys’ 10 Best in Arkansas for client satisfaction. The group is a third-party attorney rating organization, which publishes an annual list of the Top 10 Criminal Law attorneys in each state. Attorneys making the list must pass a selection process based on client and peer nominations, thorough research and an independent evaluation.

Don McDonald, senior vice president of wealth management and an adviser with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Fort Smith, was named to WealthManagement Magazine’s “Top 100 Wirehouse Advisers in 2016” list. McDonald began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1989 after graduating from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.

Rachel Burton is the new development director at Life Styles Inc. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Hendrix College in Conway and has 15 years of nonprofit and development experience. She spent the past 10 years as a major gift officer for the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.

Devin Cole is the new chief strategy and commercial officer at George’s Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience in the global food services field, holding such jobs as president of sales and marketing and chief commercial officer at Tyson Foods and president of the North American business for Keystone Foods.

Amanda Shelley, a production supervisor at Simmons Foods Inc., completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Michele Roe, director of quality at NOW Diagnostics Inc., completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Janisse Rivera Colon, quality engineering manager at Rockline Industries, completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Keith Sexton, global quality engineer for new products and processes at Rockline Industries, completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Theresa Kwasny of Pel-Freez Biologicals completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Carol Barton, internal consultant with Wal-Mart Stores Inc., completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Chantell Jernigan, supplier certification auditor at Simmons Foods, completed requirements to be named an American Society for Quality auditor. The recognition indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices.

Blake Hendricks, manager at The Grease Pig’s Fayetteville North College Avenue location, was chosen by the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance to receive a scholarship to the University of the Aftermarket’s Leadership 2.0 program, the two-week executive development program. The scholarship covers course materials, meals, and tuition and is valued at $6,250.

Doug Sprouse, Springdale mayor, was elected first vice president of the Arkansas Municipal League. He served on the executive committee from 2009-2013 and 2014 to the present, as District 3 vice president in 2013-2014, and on the state aid street committee since 2013.

Sara Scott, coding specialist at Highlands Oncology Group, received her coding certification for oncology and hematology. Scott started with the company in September 2000 working in medical records. She holds credentials as a certified professional coder and certified hematology and oncology coder.
