A North Little Rock woman was arrested Wednesday after police found two handguns, a digital scale and a grinder in her purse, according to an arrest report.

Police stopped a vehicle for an expired paper tag in the 4500 block of Olive Street in North Little Rock on Wednesday, according to the report.

Police arrested the driver, Aarion Rhodes, 20, after discovering she had two outstanding warrants from two agencies. Police found two handguns, a digital scale and a grinder in Rhodes' purse, along with pills of Alprazolam not prescribed for Rhodes.

While en route to the jail, police said, Rhodes began kicking, yelling and stating she could not breathe. The officer stopped and called for an ambulance, according to the report. When the ambulance arrived, medical personnel would not get near Rhodes but determined she was breathing OK.

Rhodes, according to the report, told the police officer she would kill the officer, along with the officer's husband, mother and kids. Then after she claimed she had swallowed 50 Xanax pills, police took her to Baptist Health Medical Center for an evaluation. Rhodes was released from the hospital and taken to jail, according to the police report.

Police charged Rhodes with possession of a controlled substance, terroristic threatening and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report. She was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Wednesday night.
