Erin Rose Grobarek and Robert Olin Wage Jr. were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Lincoln Park Conservatory and Gardens in Chicago. Robert Prorak officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy Grobarek of Wauconda, Ill., and Lorraine and Joseph Grobarek of Key West, Fla. Her grandparents are the late Lorraynne and Joseph Grobarek and the late Walter and Rose Bremner, all of Chicago.

Cindy and Robert Wage of Little Rock are the parents of the bridegroom. His grandparents are Jacquelyn and the late Robert Edward Wage and the late Margery and Ralph Downs, all also of Little Rock.

Decorations for the ceremony included dinosaur figures and arrangements of white roses and green succulents. Music by a string quartet included covers of "The Final Countdown" and "Life on Mars."

The bride wore an ivory vintage sheath of Battenburg lace with soutache cap sleeves embellished with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses, succulents, hypericum berries and dianthus.

Bridesmaids were Caitlin Garber and Brae Grobarek of Chicago, sisters of the bride; Aaron Nixon of Little Rock, sister of the bridegroom; and Jessica Williams, Elyse Blumenthal, Marisa Shapiro, Lameis Hodi and Jillian Farland, all also of Chicago. They wore black cocktail dresses and carried bouquets of white roses.

Flower girls were Madison Nixon, niece and goddaughter of the bridegroom, and Susan Grace Mitchell, cousin of the bridegroom, both of Little Rock. Ring bearer was J.B. Grobarek of Key West, brother of the bride.

Serving as groomsmen were Marc Nixon and Hamilton Peek, both of Little Rock; Preston Smith of Fayetteville; Dr. Shelby Bennett of Philadelphia; Josh Rateliff and Emmett Garber, both of Chicago; Will Estes of New Orleans; and Joe Ballenger of San Francisco.

A reception, also at the conservatory, followed the ceremony.

The bride has bachelor's and master's degrees in English from DePaul University and is a writer and editor of children's books for Phoenix International Publications Inc.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a project manager and mechanical engineer for Environmental Systems Design.

The couple will make their home in Chicago after a wedding trip to Jamaica.
