A Hot Springs man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to child exploitation charges, according to a news release from state Attorney General Leslie Rutledge's office.
Herman Duncan, 44, pleaded guilty to four counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving children, according to the release. He was also found guilty on one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Herman was sentenced in Garland County Circuit Court on Tuesday, and he must register as a sex offender in addition to his prison sentence.
The attorney general's Cyber Crimes Unit, along with Hot Springs police, executed a search warrant and Duncan was arrested in 2015.
