Carl L. Robinson, 20, and Davonta D. Morris, 18, were arrested and are being held in the Ashley County jail pending probable cause hearings, Police Chief Jay Cruce said in a news release.

The two are accused of killing Karen Sivek, 60, during a break-in at Sivek's home on the 600 block of West Eighth Avenue in Crossett. Cruce said police were called to the home at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in reference to a shooting.

Officers found Sivek dead inside the home. A 14-year-old girl, Sivek's granddaughter, was wounded by a shot to the neck.
