FORT SMITH -- A Harrison man was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to sending sexually explicit photos to a 13-year-old girl.
Kelvin Lee Pratt, 35, admitted in a plea agreement with the government that he sent photos of unclothed females to the 13-year-old in April 2015 after engaging in sexually explicit conversations with her using Facebook Messenger, a person-to-person chat service.
In return, the girl sent him sexually explicit photos of herself on two occasions.
The Boone County sheriff's office received a tip about Pratt in July 2015, the plea agreement said. In an interview with Boone County detectives, Pratt admitted using Facebook Messenger to send the photos and have sexually explicit conversations with the minor to induce her to send him nude photos of herself.
