ANTHRAX — Iconic metal band Anthrax will perform at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Despite some member changes and record label changes throughout the years, Anthrax has been among the most popular metal bands of the last three decades. The group rereleased the deluxe version of its 1985 album “Spreading the Disease” in November of last year and is now preparing for the release of its newest record, “For All Kings,” at the end of February. THE SISTERS SWEET — A local favorite, duo The Sisters Sweet will perform a free show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Maxine’s Taproom in Fayetteville. The two will be joined by Liz Carney and her band Bella Donna.
