Former Arkansas running back Jonathan Williams was listed Tuesday morning as "limited" for work this week at the Senior Bowl by Phil Savage, the game's executive director, at Mobile, Ala.

Williams, an 1,190-yard rusher for the Razorbacks in 2014, suffered a ligament tear in his left foot during a scrimmage Aug. 15, 2015, and did not play during the 2015 season. The Allen, Texas, native had screws taken out of his foot Dec. 1. Savage said Williams will participate in some drills but not full-contact work this week.

Practices for the North and South teams opened Tuesday for the all-star game after the annual weigh-in and measurement session, which produced a couple of small surprises for former Razorbacks. The game is Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.

Quarterback Brandon Allen measured in at 6-1, 212 pounds, an inch smaller than he was listed by Arkansas. Offensive guard Sebastian Tretola has lost 13 pounds from his listed playing weight, checking in at 6-4, 317 pounds, his lightest weight since reporting to Arkansas in summer 2014 at 370 pounds. Williams measured just short of 5-11, 219 pounds.

Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting sent a Twitter post at practice praising Allen's drill work, writing, "Based off eye test so far, #Arkansas's Brandon Allen has best velocity of South QBs. Tight spin, plus-placement/velocity on slants."

Allen is joined at quarterback on the South roster by North Carolina State's Jacoby Brissett, Alabama's Jake Coker and Mississippi State's Dak Prescott.

Later, Galko listed Allen among five "winners" in the South's first practice, along with Baylor receiver Jay Lee, LSU cornerback Jalen Mills, Louisville defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and Clemson defensive tackle D.J. Reader.
