Last gravel highway in state, near Devil’s Den, to be paved

A section of Arkansas 220 in southern Washington County was closed after heavy rains last month. A 7.43-mile stretch of state highway in Crawford and Washington counties is the last in Arkansas that has yet to be paved.

WINSLOW — Work will begin next month to pave the last stretch of gravel highway in Arkansas.
