Arkansas gymnastics upset Alabama for a second straight season Friday night.

The No. 9 Razorbacks edged the No. 4 Crimson Tide 196.7-196.4, giving the program its first ever win in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

"Beating Alabama for the first time here means a lot for the confidence of our program," Arkansas coach Mark Cook said. "We need to take what we did today and use it as we go through the season."

In the third rotation, Alabama fell three times on the balance beam, allowing Arkansas to take the lead with a strong performance on the floor exercise.

Last season, the Razorbacks beat a 6th-ranked Alabama team at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.
