Torres died from stab wounds Tuesday.

Police arrested Ulises Manjarrez, 19, of 723 Success Ave. in Springdale on Friday, putting the number of arrests in the case to six.

The name of the boy police said stabbed Torres was released Friday.

Hector Trejo, 17, of Rogers was arrested Thursday and will be charged as an adult in connection with Torres death. Trejo faces charges of capital murder and aggravated residential burglary, according to Prosecutor Matt Durrett.

Manjarrez was arrested on suspicion of accomplice to capital murder, residential burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree battery. Police said Manjarrez told them he helped force a door open and fight people inside the motel room, according to a preliminary arrest report.

Manjarrez arrest was the most recent in a string of arrests made Thursday and Friday. More arrests are possible, Springdale Capt. Ron Hritz said in email Friday.

On Thursday, the Rogers Police Department used its SWAT team to search a home in Rogers with the Springdale Police Department, according to a news release posted online. By that night, police arrested Trejo and four others, records show.

Victor Garcia-Araujo, 19, of 1501 Wilshire Drive in Springdale and Matthew Guod, 21, of 1503 Wilshire Drive in Springdale were arrested on suspicion of accomplice to capital murder, aggravated residential burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree battery, a misdemeanor offense.

Hernan Rodriguez, 18, of 463 Village Lane in Springdale was arrested in connection with accomplice to capital murder, aggravated residential burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.

Nicolas Torres, 19, of 1630 Prairie St. in Springdale was arrested in connection with hindering apprehension. Police said Torres lied to police and withheld information during the investigation, according to a police report.

A group of people showed up at a party at Scottish Inns & Suites at 1219 S. Thompson St., room 218, looking to fight, according to police documents. Trejo, Manjarrez, Rodriguez, Guod and Garcia-Araujo were identified as among those who broke the motel window and door to get inside the room where the fight occurred, according to police and prosecutor documents.

Trejo then stabbed Torres twice in the neck, records show.

Springdale police arrived at the motel at 3:34 a.m. Sunday to find "large amounts of blood inside the room and near the room," according to police reports. Police later found Torres at the Northwest Medical Center-Springdale where he had critical injuries, reports show.

Hritz said Friday the fight didn't involve gang activity or gang members.

A Washington County Detention Center photo shows the word "Midgets" tattooed on Rodriguez's face. The name often represents Brown Pride Midgets, a known gang police linked to other shootings in Springdale last year. Hritz couldn't say why Rodriguez has a possible gang tattoo over his left eyebrow.

Four of the five men have criminal records, according to the preliminary reports.

Rodriguez has a criminal history including commercial burglary, theft of property, aggravated assault and second-degree assault offenses, according to a preliminary report. Guod's criminal history includes aggravated riot and possession of a controlled substance offenses, another report shows. Manjarrez has a criminal history including commercial burglary and theft of property, according to his preliminary report.

All of Torres' previous offenses are misdemeanors, and Garcia-Araujo has no criminal history, police records show.

Rodriguez, Garcia-Araujo and Guod were at the county jail Friday with no bond Friday. Torres was at the jail with a $50,000 bond. All four have court hearings set next week. Trejo has an arraignment hearing Tuesday, Durrett said.

Manjarrez hadn't yet been booked into the jail Friday evening.
