Little Rock police are seeking the driver of a maroon 2001 Nissan Maxima in connection with two armed robberies early Tuesday.

Officers were called at 12:11 a.m. to a Shell gas station at 7400 Cantrell Road. An employee, Guadalupe Aguilar, 50, said a man had entered the business and asked to buy a candy bar, according to a police report. When Aguilar opened the cash register, the man pulled a gun and took an unknown amount of money.

No injuries were reported.

The robber fled in the Maxima, which was last seen traveling west on Cantrell Road, according to the report. Later Tuesday, investigators linked the vehicle to a holdup in Maumelle. Details of that robbery weren't immediately available.

The robber is described as black, 5-foot-8 and between 30 and 35 years old. He wore a Chicago Bulls jacket and a black hat.
