War Eagle Mill will reopen in mid-March following December flooding that topped six feet inside the mill and left a thick layer of silt, according to a news release from the mill.
The mill closes for maintenance every year.
"This year we did a thorough job, taking walls and floors down to the studs and giving the Mill's first floor for a fresh start for 2016," the news release stated.
The mill usually opens March 1, but will open closer to March 15 this year, the news release stated.
The mill's granary is still open, and flours, meals and mixes are still available online and in stores, according to the news release.
