Rogers runner injured by vehicle

A 24-year-old Rogers man was injured when he was hit by a vehicle while jogging on Cross Creek Boulevard near Willowridge Way Wednesday night, according to police.

Alex Goff, 24, of Rogers was heading west on Cross Creek Boulevard when a 2006 Honda Pilot driven by Jerusha Zollinger, 39, hit him from behind, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page. Goff was on the roadway's edge, according to the post.

First responders were called at about 5:47 p.m.

Police said Goff was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center by the Rogers Fire Department for non-life threatening injuries. Goff was not listed as a patient Thursday morning, said Gina Maddox, center spokeswoman.

Fire records indicated a 24-year-old man was hospitalized for a head injury and ankle fracture from the same location on Wednesday night.

No citations have been issued, police said.

Jennifer Bikel, 40, of Rogers, was hit and killed Feb. 4 by a car outside the Village on the Creeks shopping center on 52nd Street. She was jogging on a portion of the Razorback Greenway that uses sidewalks and is planned to be rerouted.
