Benton County Sheriff's Office

• John Houston, 45, of 56 Cherokee Ave. in Essex Junction, Vt., was arrested Wednesday in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Houston was being held in the Benton County Jail on Wednesday on a $7,500 bond.

• William Raymond Ray, 64, of 708 School St. in Hot Springs was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony failure to appear. Ray was being held in the Benton County Jail on Wednesday on a bond of $12,000.

• Nichlous Dean Wilkerson, 35, of 11234 Indian Hills Road in Rogers was arrested Tuesday in connection with aggravated assault on a family or household member, third-degree domestic battery and terroristic threatening. Wilkerson was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Siloam Springs

• Maegan JoClare Murray, 18, of 118 Graystone in Westville, Okla., was arrested Tuesday in connection with second-degree forgery. Murray was no longer listed as an inmate in the Benton County Jail on Wednesday.

Springdale

• Terry Lankford, 43, of 1200 Roberts Road in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of a firearm by a certain person. He was at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond Wednesday.

Fire

Avoca

• Firefighters were called about a building fire and found a burning propane bottle at 8:35 p.m. near 15510 Hight Place.

Rogers

• A car on fire was reported at 1:17 p.m. from 310 N. 13th St. Firefighters found a 2001 Buick Regal with the hood raised covered in powder from a fire extinguisher when they arrived and helped push it into a parking spot.

• Theft was reported at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday from 2101 S. Promenade Blvd. in Rogers.

• Theft of a wallet was reported at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday from 10190 Bonnabel Road in Rogers. A man told deputies that a dog took his wallet while he was working on a vehicle and neighbors went through it, taking identification and a debit card before tossing the wallet.

• Theft was reported at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday from 2905 S.W. Deerfield Blvd., No. 2.

• Assault was reported at 1:58 p.m. Tuesday from Lincoln Junior High, 1206 N.W. Leopard Lane.

• Rape was reported at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday in Fayetteville.

• Theft was reported at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday at 1944 E. Joyce Blvd.

• Forgery or fraud was reported at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday from 911 N. 31st St.

• Theft was reported at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday from 5130 W. Sussex Lane.

• Breaking or entering was reported at 6:59 a.m. Tuesday from 3205 S. Fifth St; at 8:02 a.m. from 3203 S. Fifth St. and at 10:37 a.m. from 2218 W. Wood St.
