A man employed at the University of Arkansas' Alpha Delta Pi sorority house was arrested Thursday, two days after police said he exposed himself to children at a Springdale Walmart.

Micah Krol, 36, of 7 Norman Lane in Bella Vista was arrested in connection with three counts sexual indecency with a child, a felony; and public sexual indecency, a Class A misdemeanor, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

Krol was being held Friday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

Police were called Tuesday to the Walmart Supercenter at 2004 Pleasant St. after a report of a man exposing himself to small children in the store, according to a preliminary arrest report.

Krol left the store before police arrived, but officers used the license plate on the vehicle Krol left in to obtain his driver's license information, the report says. Police matched Krol's photo to surveillance footage that captured Krol exposing his genitals to three children at two spots in the store, the report says.

Officers on Thursday arrested Krol at the sorority house on 519 Oakland Ave. in Fayetteville, the report says. Krol worked as a cook at the sorority house, according to Steve Voorhies, university spokesman. Krol started work in August, and his access was limited to the kitchen and dining hall, Voorhies said.

Krol has been placed on administrative leave pending termination, according to a news release from Alpha Delta Pi.

The sorority called the charges "disturbing" and said his background check didn't reveal "anything inappropriate," the release said.

Krol has a bond hearing scheduled at 7:45 a.m. Monday in Washington County Circuit Court.
