Sydnei Danyale Pearcy, 26, of Booneville is accused of exchanging nude photos with a minor, according to court documents.

Booneville police said Pearcy and a 15-year-old male student swapped nude photos and videos of each other on the social media app Snapchat in October and November while Pearcy was working as a substitute teacher for Booneville School District.

The act was initiated by Pearcy, according to an affidavit, which also says Pearcy sent the student photos of her breasts and other private parts and that the student sent photos of his private parts to Pearcy.

Pearcy was arrested Jan. 27 and was released on $5,000 bond the same day. She has been prohibited from contacting the student, according to court documents.

Booneville School Superintendent John Parrish said Pearcy no longer substitute teaches at Booneville schools. He said Pearcy came to the district through an independent substitute teacher provider, SubTeachUSA, based in Paragould.

Pearcy has been prohibited from contacting the student, according to court documents. Her trial date is April 15.
