FAYETTEVILLE — The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette has selected the best of the best for its 2016 Fall sports awards.
In today’s edition, the NWADG honors outstanding players in volleyball, golf, tennis and cross country.
Outstanding players were selected from a 12-county area that covers the western half of the state from Harrison to Waldron. Top players from schools in all classifications were eligible for selection based on their outstanding play during the 2016 season.

VOLLEYBALL
- Player of the Year - Haley Warner, Fayetteville
- Coach of the Year - Shyrah Schisler, Springdale Har-Ber
- Newcomer of the Year - Lexi Richards, Shiloh Christian
GOLF
- Girls Golfer of the Year - Kate Robertson
- Boys Golfer of the Year - Fisher Vollendorf, Fayetteville
TENNIS
- Girls Doubles Team of the Year - Avery Hargrove and Taylor Cheung-Damonte, Bentonville
- Girls Singles Player of the Year - Brooke Killingsworth, Bentonville
- Boys Singles Player of the Year - Jack Vaughan, Rogers High
- Boys Doubles Team of the Year - Moss Mathews and Payne Henry, Rogers High
CROSS COUNTRY
- Boys Runner of the Year - Camren Fischer
- Girls Runner of the Year - Tori Willis
