The bride is the daughter of Cathy and Jon Plafcan of Carlisle. Her grandparents are Joan and the late Hugh Scarbrough of Fayetteville, and the late Betty Ann and Frank Plafcan of Carlisle.

Parents of the bridegroom are Gale and Tom Scott of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Virginia and J.D. Grice of Parkdale and the late Opal and Robie Scott of Monticello.

Church pews were marked with frosted evergreens and silver curly willow. Music was by organist Phillip Quick and soloist Catherine Carr "CeCe" Smith, sister of the bride.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory gown of beaded lace with a halter-style bodice and A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangeas and freesia.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters Claudia Goodson and Rosemary Ezell, both of North Little Rock, and Catherine Carr Smith of Cave Springs. Bridesmaids were Erin Warden, Caroline Spencer, Martha Harbuck and Courtney Kleine, all of Little Rock; Andrea Polk of Carlisle; Mary Catherine Moery of Fayetteville; and Michelle Lynch of Houston. They wore gowns with silver-gray bodices of beaded lace and skirts of gray chiffon. Their bouquets were filled with white roses and hydrangeas.

Flower girls and ring bearers were Norah Ezell, Anna Goodson and Beckett Ezell, all of North Little Rock and nieces and nephews of the bride; and Camden Scott of Fayetteville, nephew of the bridegroom.

Best man was Cory Scott of Fayetteville, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Matt Lamb, Matt Warden, Matt Brunson and Michael Squires, all of Little Rock; Lawson Plafcan of Memphis, brother of the bride; and Brandon White, Eric Arthur and Matt Mozzoni, all of Fayetteville. Guests were seated by Michael Lewis and Kyle Short, both of Little Rock, Matt Holman of Tulsa and Carter Harbuck of Jonesboro.

After the ceremony, there was a reception at the Arkansas Arts Center. Guest tables held arrangements of white hydrangeas, white roses, white freesia and frosted evergreens. Music was by the Reliance Band of Memphis.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in accounting and is an audit associate at BKD LLP.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance from UA where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He has a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and is a corporate counsel at Bernhard LLC.

After a wedding trip to Whistler and Vancouver, British Columbia, the couple will live in Little Rock.
