ASU’s Anderson: No contact with any school

Blake Anderson said he has not been contacedt by any school looking for a football coach and Terry Mohajir said no school has contacted him wishing to speak with the Arkansas State head football coach.

Anderson's name has been mentioned as a possible candidate at both Baylor and Houston. Anderson, from Hubbard, Texas, started his college career at Baylor before transferring to Sam Houston State.

"I haven't been contacted by anybody that has shown significant interest," Anderson said.

When asked about using the word "significant," Anderson said, "I would assume a phone call would show interest."

ESPN.com reported last week that Anderson was believed to be a candidate at Baylor, while footballscoop.com reported last week that Houston planned to speak with Anderson, who is 23-15 in three seasons at ASU. He called the reports "just rumors."

"If our name is not out there then we're probably not winning enough games," he said. "If something comes up, that if our family, my wife and I and our staff and everybody needs to look at, we will. But the rumors are going to continue to fly."
