— A backup on Arkansas' last College World Series has returned to the Razorbacks.

Infielder Blake Wiggins has rejoined Arkansas after playing last season in junior college at College of Southern Nevada. Wiggins is a junior and has two years of eligibility remaining.

At Southern Nevada, Wiggins batted .315 with 12 home runs and 59 RBI in 55 games, and was named to his all-region team. He played in three games for the Razorbacks two seasons ago.

Wiggins has experience at third base and could help Arkansas man the position from which it struggled to find consistency a season ago. Carson Shaddy manned the position for much of last season, but finished the year with 14 errors and an .899 fielding percentage.

Wiggins was the Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock.
