BENTONVILLE -- A Wilson, Okla., man was arrested Saturday in connection with rape.
Levi Shane Walker, 18, was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail on a $75,000 bond. Prosecutors haven't filed a formal charge against Walker.
Siloam Springs police began to investigate in December after they received a report Walker raped a 10-year-old girl, according to a probable cause affidavit. The girl told her therapist about being abused by Walker, the affidavit states.
The girl was interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County. She said Walker had been sexually abusing her since she was 6, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Walker's arraignment is scheduled for 8 a.m. Sept. 19 in Circuit Judge Robin Green's courtroom.
