Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found in Arkansas' Cache River.
The Jackson County sheriff's office said in a statement Friday that the body was first spotted in the river near Pitts by a local farmer.
Authorities from Jackson and Poinsett counties responded to the area and recovered the unidentified man's body on the Jackson County side of the river, the statement sent.
The body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
