Head-on crash involving Jeep, pickup ends in Arkansas woman's death

A head-on crash in the northwest part of the state resulted in an Arkansas woman's death Thursday morning.

Arkansas State Police said Doreen Martin, 62, of Decatur was driving her Jeep north on Arkansas 59 in Benton County near the highway's intersection with Crystal Lake Road at 10:02 a.m.

A Ford F-350 towing a trailer was driving south toward Martin on the highway and crossed into the northbound lanes to go around a stopped car. Police said Martin's Jeep and the Ford collided head-on.
