After a short hiatus from releasing new music, country singer/songwriter John Berry is back in the country music game with the release of his new album "What I Love the Most" on June 3. The singer, known for hits like "Your Love Amazes Me," "Standing On the Edge of Goodbye," and "She's Taken a Shine" is the headliner for the live music stage at the 118th Tontitown Grape Festival and will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday.
"I play a lot of small towns and it's always a good time!" Berry says of playing at the festival.

After finding fame as a country music artist in the '90s, and this year being the 20th year of his Christmas Tour, Berry says he is still constantly surprised by the business when he's on tour.
"People keep showing up!" he says with a laugh. "I always wonder if people are going to show up for my shows, and then they keep coming."
A new Christmas album (released in 2015), a new country album and a yearly Christmas Tour have kept Berry pretty busy over the last few years. But not so busy that he isn't ready to put out another album.
"We're recording five songs on Monday. We recorded a five-song EP last summer, and we decided to flesh it out to be a full Christmas album."
After spending so much time with his soulful songs beloved by so many, it's hard for Berry to pick a favorite. Although he was involved much more heavily on this record's writing process than on past records and is proud for people to hear his new music.
"My songs are kind of like my children, I love them all. But it's been fun to watch people really enjoy these new songs. I hope folks will come out and I'm really looking forward to sharing the music with them."
