The Russellville Football Booster Club is holding its fourth annual Cyclone GLO Run Walk 5K at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the east parking lot of Russellville Junior High School, 2000 W. Parkway Drive. Parking is available in the west parking lot of the school.
The course is an out-and-back that will head up North Phoenix Avenue to Arkansas Tech University before returning to the junior high.
Any 5K participant younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Runners will be chip-timed. Awards will go three-deep, to the fastest male and female runners overall and by age group. The top three male and female walkers will also earn awards.
Prizes will also be given for the best individual and group costumes.
A 1K fun run will be available for any children who don't want to run the 5K. Registration for the 1K will be at the starting line, for $10.
All proceeds from the GLO Run will go to provide pre-game meals for Russellville football players in grades seven through 12.
Online registration is available for walkers and runners until midnight today for $25 plus a $2.50 handling fee. Packet pickup and race-day registration will be open from 8 to 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the junior high. Race-day registration will cost an extra $5.

The deadline for guaranteeing an event shirt has already passed, but there will be a limited number of the glow-in-the-dark event shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis for race-day registrants.
