7 9 a.m. — The 24th annual “Dogwood Walk” to benefit the Humane Society of the Ozarks will be at Gulley Park in Fayetteville. The dog-friendly event will include dog contests and challenges, photos with your dog, face painting and balloon animals and awards for exceptional dogs and their people. 7 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — The annual “Touch A Truck” fundraiser for the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas will be at Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. Children will be able to explore emergency vehicles, construction trucks, motorcycles, tractor-trailers and boats. 14 7 a.m. — The 18th annual “Kendrick Fincher Celebration” with a youth run, 5K run/walk and duathlon will be at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. The youth run is free for students in grades kindergarten to eighth and is a fun and educational event to promote proper hydration and prevention of heat-related illness.
