ROGERS -- Cole Cooper, a Rogers High senior, signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to play basketball at Central Baptist College in Conway.
Cooper, a 6-foot-5 guard, averaged 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for the Mounties last season. He hit 29 3-pointers on the season.
Cooper said the Conway campus was a big reason he chose CBC and the fact that it is a Christian-based college.
"The staff and the coaches just drew me there," Cooper said. "Overall I just wanted to play basketball and they had the best choice for that."
Cooper has not decided on a major.
