UPDATE:

Both inmates who escaped from the Northeast Arkansas Community Correction Center in Osceola are back in custody, authorities said Monday evening.

In alerts sent out shortly after 6:30 p.m., Arkansas Community Correction said Austin Magness, 22, and Willie Reynolds, 26, were recaptured.

The agency's deputy director, Dina Tyler, said in an email that dogs tracked the two men to a farm field less than a mile from the facility.

"They were lying down in hopes of avoiding detection," she wrote, adding Magness and Reynolds will be transferred to a "more secure facility" than the one they escaped from.

A prosecutor will determine what charges the men will face.
