Thrive chiropractic open in Fayetteville

Thrive Integrated Health, formerly Ozanne Family Chiropractic, a Fayetteville-based chiropractic and health clinic, opened this week.

Thrive offers services in back pain treatment, chiropractic care, diagnostic testing, scoliosis treatment, auto accident treatment, medical pain relief, physical rehabilitation, pregnancy chiropractic care, trigger point injections, supartz joint fluid therapy and more.

Benjamin Ozanne leads Thrive Integrated Health and has a focus on nutrition, exercise, life management and chiropractic care.

J.V. Manufacturing wins safety award

J.V. Manufacturing Inc. in Springdale received a Two Million Man Hour Safety Award from the Arkansas Department of Labor, the Arkansas Insurance Department and the Arkansas Workers' Compensation Commission.

The factory's 165 employees accumulated 2 million work hours without a lost day away from work because of a work-related injury or illness between March 10, 2013, and Feb. 28.

The company has a safety program in effect and a safety committee consisting of both employees and management.

An award ceremony is noon May 5 at J.V. Manufacturing Inc., 701 Butterfield Coach Road, Springdale.

Springdale's NanoMech scores capital

NanoMech secured $10 million in capital for leading its Series C Financing round from Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's national oil company. This capital infusion and relationship will accelerate NanoMech's manufacturing, sales and product development. NanoMech has its headquarters in the Springdale Technology Park.

NanoMech uses nanotechnology to develop advanced products for industrial and mechanical applications, such as lubricants, coatings and specialty chemicals. These products are used to increase performance, efficiency and reliability in industries such as energy, transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, agricultural equipment and military.

The company commercialized its innovations to world-leading businesses and has completed scale-up of its smart factory and labs. Several Fortune 100 and emerging companies have incorporated NanoMech's nano-engineered solutions to create higher-performance products.
