The Legend of ... Stephens? Depp's Aussie dog apology

The Stephens family — John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen — have announced the birth of their first child, daughter Luna.

Spin Cycle presents another installment of "All The News That's Fit to Razz."

• It's a girl. Singer John Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, have announced the birth of their first child, a daughter. Teigen tweeted, "She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you!" Wait, Stephens? Who's that?

More surprising to us than the baby's name was learning that Legend's name is really John Roger Stephens.

• The Australian Department of Agriculture released an awkward apology video recorded by actor Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard. Heard faced prison time and a $100,000 fine for bringing their Yorkshire terriers into the country with false documentation. In it, a deadpan Depp says, "Australians are ... unique; both warm and direct. When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly. ... Declare everything when you enter Australia. ... Thanks."

At the very least it was more convincing than his performance in The Lone Ranger.

Taylor Swift had an edgy new hairstyle when she attended the Coachella music festival last weekend. The 26-year-old has gone punk and platinum, a look she debuts on Vogue's May cover. It's not our favorite 'do for Taylor (we still miss her big country girl curls from back in the day).

But not to worry; we're sure she and her glam squad will be changing it swiftly.

Samuel L. Jackson got into a Twitter feud with a fan who accused him of being "an arrogant punk." The fan says he requested a photo, to which Jackson responded, "Nope!" When the guy said he was a big fan, Jackson said, "I'm a fan of me too!" The fan called Jackson out on Twitter, to which Jackson tweeted, "I refused the photo politely, then you spazzed out! Learn to say 'please.'" And then he said an obscenity we won't repeat here.

Oh, that Jackson, he's such an Avenger.

P̶r̶i̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶d̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶e̶ ̶n̶o̶w̶.* . But recently his jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Ill., after the singer's case of the flu -- which caused him to cancel some shows -- got worse.

This wouldn't have happened had he just taken a "Little Red Corvette."

• During a recent podcast interview, Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Cheryl Burke had harsh words for her former dance partner, Ian Ziering of Beverly Hills, 90210 and the Sharknado movies: "My least favorite [partner] would be Ian Ziering. The fact that his name is not 'ee-an' and it's 'eye-an' makes me [sick]!" Working with him, she said, "made me want to slit my wrists. I was, like, crying to the executives. I was like, 'Is there any way to please just eliminate us?'"

Cheryl, tell us how you really feel about him -- don't just tap-dance around it!

• And speaking of 90210, Ziering's former co-star Brian Austin Green confirmed that he is the father of the child that his estranged and pregnant wife Megan Fox is carrying. In August, the actress filed for divorce from the actor, with whom she shares two toddler sons.

We wish a hearty congratulations to this not-entirely-happy family.

• At a Missouri location, McDonald's is testing all-you-can-eat fries.

Bottomless fries? In this case, you won't be what you eat.
