Jonathan Perrodin, a co-creator of Team Springdale, was arrested in Madison County early Sunday in connection with multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

Perrodin, 32, of 414 W. Johnson Ave. in Springdale and his wife Amber Perrodin are creators of Team Springdale and The Little Craft Show. Jonathan Perrodin also serves as a member of the Springdale Public Library Board of Trustees and the Shiloh Museum Board of Trustees.

Team Springdale is a website and group of social media accounts "that was created to involve the people of Springdale, AR through group initiatives & events while promoting our city!" according to the Team Springdale Facebook page.

Perrodin was arrested in connection with two felony counts of second-degree battery on a law enforcement officer and felony aggravated assault on a certified law enforcement officer as well as misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical test, resisting arrest, no proof of insurance, speeding and drinking on a highway.

Jonathan Perrodin said Monday afternoon that he wants to say something publicly about the incident, but he wasn't ready yet and didn't have a comment.

The arrest originated with a traffic stop, according to the preliminary report form. Jonathan Perrodin was driving 35 miles per hour in an area where the speed limit is 25 miles per hour, according to the report.

Perrodin got upset with the police officer who pulled him over, used an expletive and said to take him to jail when the officer asked him if he had been drinking, according to the report. Amber Perrodin was also in the vehicle and told the officer they had drank three or four beers.

Jonathan Perrodin told her to stop speaking to the officer and yelled at the officer when the officer asked Amber Perrodin for identification, the report stated.

Jonathan Perrodin used an expletive when the officer asked him to exit the vehicle, according to the report. The officer then tried to open the door and Perrodin locked it. The officer then reached inside the vehicle and opened the door.

The officer and a deputy each took one of Perrodin's arms, and Perrodin tried to get away, according to the report.

Perrodin kicked the deputy and the officer, report stated.

The officer took Perrodin to the ground, where the concrete slightly scraped his face.

The officer and deputy handcuffed Perrodin and carried him to the police vehicle because he refused to walk.

Perrodin tried to kick out one of the windows, according to the report. The deputy and officer put leg restraints on him, and the officer used a stun gun on Perrodin in the process.

Perrodin was taken to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, where authorities carried him inside because he refused to walk, according to the report. Perrodin put his shirt in the toilet, flooded the jail cell and threw the wet shirt at the officer.

There weren't any citations for Amber Perrodin on Huntsville Police Department's log as of 2:30 p.m. Monday, according to Sonja Roden, secretary and dispatcher. The report for the incident was not finished yet as of that time.

Perrodin was released Sunday from the Washington County Detention Center.
