Susan Elizabeth Frichter and Andrew James Williams were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at The Historic Fairview Inn in Jackson, Miss. The Rev. Seth Walley of St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Theresa and Carl Frichter of Poplarville, Miss. Her grandparents are Beverly and Darryl Warren, also of Poplarville, and the late Bernice and George Frichter of New Orleans.

Cheryl and Dr. Paul Williams of Little Rock are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Ruth and the late Thomas Vernon Williams of Little Rock and Mary and the late James E. Bass of Vilonia.

A gazebo in the inn's garden, where vows were exchanged, was decorated with foliage and ivory ribbon. Sara Williams of Little Rock, sister of the groom, gave the reading.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless trumpet-style gown of ivory lace and tulle. She carried a bouquet of white ranunculus, garden roses, jasmine and seeded eucalyptus.

Brittany Freeman of Jackson was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandy Mays of Jackson, and Eden Yelverton and Rohini Krishna, both of Flowood, Miss. They wore short petal-pink dresses with tulle overlays embellished with Chantilly lace appliques and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Jason Leonhardt of Houston was best man. Groomsmen were Stephen Williams of Little Rock, brother of the groom; Ross Brandon of Austin, Texas; and Jeremy White of Jackson. Guests were seated by Ross O'Kelley of Benton and Bryan Mar of Longview, Texas.

Arrangements of white ranunculus, roses, hydrangeas, stock and jasmine decorated the room at the inn where the reception was held. Guest tables were decorated with white candles and greenery.

The bride graduated summa cum laude, with honors and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and chemistry from the University of New Orleans. She will graduate in May with a medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Beginning in July, she will be a resident physician in family medicine at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He received a juris doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law at Jackson and is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association. He is a lawyer with the Williams Law Firm.

After a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., the couple will live in Tupelo.
