Two prisoners escaped overnight from the McDonald County Jail in Pineville, Mo., according to a Facebook post from the McDonald County Sheriff's Office.

A van that may have been stolen by the men was recovered at Midway Auto Sales at 4305 S. Thompson St. in Springdale, where two motorcycles were stolen, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

The motorcycles were a red, white and black 2005 Honda CR-85 and a 2006 red, white and black Honda CRF-100, according to a subsequent news release.

McDonald County Sheriff Michael Hall said his office is coordinating with the Springdale Police Department, but reports that the men had been spotted in Springdale are unconfirmed.

The men are considered dangerous, the Facebook post states.

Matthew Miller, 22, of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Keith Davis, 24, of Anderson, Mo., are wanted in connection with escape, theft and assault, according to the post.

The jail is about 6 miles north of the border with Arkansas.
