Fayetteville man, 60, gets 5 years for receiving child porn

LITTLE ROCK — Federal prosecutors say a 60-year-old Fayetteville man has been sentenced to five years in prison for knowingly receiving child pornography.

Prosecutors announced the sentence Tuesday for Paul Heap, who pleaded guilty in federal court to the charge in June.

Court records alleged that investigators discovered last year that a computer Heap was using was being used to download child pornography.

Agents found numerous computers and digital storage devices when they served a search warrant, and records show that Heap admitted at that time to downloading images and videos of child pornography on several occasions.
