Buffalo Bills tight end Charles Clay (Little Rock Central) made his return to Miami on Sunday and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor in a 41-14 victory over the Dolphins.
Clay caught five passes for 82 yards for the Bills, who improved to 2-1.
Buffalo signed Clay as a free agent after he spent four seasons with the Dolphins.
Clay’s touchdown happened barely three minutes into the game and the rout was on from there.
“That [Dolphins] defense is tough on anybody, so to come out and set the tone and go down and score, we knew it would be tough for them to move the ball on our defense,” Clay told reporters after the game.
Buffalo improved to 5-2 against Miami over the past four years. The Bills are 18-26 against everyone else during that span.
