A release from the Police Department said no one was injured.

Police were called to 324 N. 2nd St. at 11:40 p.m. on a report that someone had just set the house on fire. The caller told police two men dressed in dark clothing ran from the house. As officers arrived they also reported seeing the two men fleeing the area but they were not able to find them again.

The Helena-West Helena Fire Department arrived and put out the fire before it spread throughout the house.
