Sharp is the school’s all-time leader in victories and led the Bulldogs to the 1996 NAIA national title. … OBU withstood a run of 20 consecutive points by SE Oklahoma State to win last week’s game. Sophomore quarterback Austin Warford rushed for 135 yards in 17 carries. Redshirt freshman Kris Oliver rushed for 92 yards and 3 touchdowns on 11 carries. Junior Brandon Marks also had 2 touchdown runs, finishing with 73 yards on 9 carries. Favor has completed 33 of 49 passes for 423 yards and 3 TDs in 2 games. He also has five rushing touchdowns. … Wonder Boys running backs Brayden Stringer (182 yards), Bryan Allen (175) and Kristian Thompson (150) are all among the top eight in the GAC in rushing yards. … Arkansas Tech leads the conference in several statistical categories, including scoring offense, rushing offense, first downs and total defense. … UAM kicker Jamie McGee moved into second place in school history in made field goals in last week’s loss against SW Oklahoma State. Since the league first began play in 2011, HSU is 31-4 in conference play (4-1 in 2011, 8-0 in 2012, 10-0 in 2013, 8-2 in 2014 and 101 this season). … HSU junior quarterback Dallas Hardison threw for a career-high 375 yards and three touchdowns in the loss to East Central. Senior wide receiver Corey Chappell had a career-high 138 yards on six receptions. Chappell needs 37 yards to become the 14th HSU receiver to top 1,000 yards for his career. … Senior JaVante Mack had 10 catches for 84 yards, including 9 catches in the first half. ..
