Spokeswoman: Benton County sheriff at home and resting

BENTONVILLE — Sheriff Kelley Cradduck is at home and resting after being released from the hospital, according to Keshia Guyll, spokeswoman for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

Cradduck was admitted last week to Mercy Medical Center in Rogers where he was treated in the intensive care unit after suffering a possible seizure, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Cradduck had been ill for several days before suffering the possible seizure, according to the release.

Guyll confirmed Tuesday that Cradduck had been released from the hospital and was resting at home. Guyll said she couldn’t answer any other questions.

Cradduck, a Republican, is serving his second term as sheriff. He was elected to his first term in 2012 and took office in January 2013. He hasn’t announced his candidacy for his third term in next year’s primary election, but he said recently he intended to seek re-election.
