Shiloh rolls, ends Charleston streak

FAYETTEVILLE — Broc Berus scored four touchdowns and Shiloh Christian scored 27 consecutive points in the second half to defeat Charleston 77-49 on Tuesday night at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Charleston, which had its 29-game winning streak snapped, pulled to within 43-36 when Jackson Rowland and Mason Wisdom connected on a 59-yard touchdown pass with 9:36 left in the third quarter.

Berus scored on runs of 11 and 6 yards and Jacob Plunkett returned an interception 5 yards for a score, giving the Saints a 64-36 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Shiloh Christian had 612 yards of total offense. Berus had 15 carries for 106 yards, while Connor Reece passed for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 129 yards and 2 scores.
