A Malvern man was killed and another man was injured after a car ran into the back of a mower Monday night in the Hot Spring County city, Arkansas State Police reported.
A 2013 Nissan Altima was headed south on Ridge Road near the intersection with Cloud Road at 7:15 p.m. when the car hit the back of a Craftsman mower that had no visible taillights, the report said. The mower left the road and its driver, Lloyd Hulsey, 59, died after he was thrown from it.
The driver of the Nissan, John Parker, 82, was injured in the crash and transported to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
At the time of the crash, the weather was clear, and roads were dry.
