Location: Park is southeast of Little Rock on West Damsite Road, 0.35 mile east of Frazier Pike. Park on the left at the boat ramp.

GPS: 34.674988, -92.162014

Length: The paved road, dirt path and sandbar trail combination totals 2.33 miles out and back.

Main attractions: Relatively secluded; the park has sparkling views of the Arkansas River, Terry Lock and Dam and the sand dunes beyond.

Hazards: None.

Dog, bike, tyke friendly? This is the terminus for Little Rock's Southeast Bike Trail, which begins 11.1 miles away at the Clinton Presidential Center. Dogs and tykes will enjoy the sandbars.
