FAYETTEVILLE -- A former Razorback basketball player charged with human trafficking and fourth-degree sexual assault involving a 14-year-old girl had his case delayed Monday in Washington County Circuit Court.

Jason Germund Henry, 26, of West Memphis was arrested in March after Fayetteville police received a call from Washington Regional Medical Center's emergency room that a 14-year-old female patient had been raped multiple times, according to police call logs and Henry's arrest report.

The girl told police a man named "Allstar" acted as her pimp. The man texted the girl about how much to charge for sex acts and he was in charge of her, according to the report. Police believe "Allstar" is Henry, who played one season with the University of Arkansas before being cut from the team for academic problems in 2009.

Henry pleaded not guilty to the charges in mid-June. Circuit Judge Joanna Taylor granted a continuance Monday to Jan. 27.

The delay was needed because Henry now says he wants a trial.
