— Tucker Pennell had a three-run double and Jake Arledge added a solo home run to extend Arkansas' fall scrimmage series Saturday.

Their hits helped the White team to a 5-4 win in Game 3 of the series. The Red team leads the best-of-five series 2-1.

Arledge's home run extended the lead to 5-0 in the fourth inning.

Jack Benninghoff had two RBI hits, while Eric Cole and Austin Catron each added one RBI hit in the late innings to pull the Red team within 5-4. Luke Bonfield grounded out with the tying run at third base in the ninth inning.

All three games in the series have been decided by one run.

Freshman right-hander Blaine Knight pitched four scoreless innings to earn the win. Jackson struck out two batters in 2 2/3 innings and was the losing pitcher.

Game 4 will be played Sunday at 3 p.m. The scrimmages are open to the public free of charge.
