The Terry House was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, for the marriage of Megan DesLauriers Harper and Matthew Michael Baker. The Rev. J. Wayne Clark, dean of the chapel at Hendrix College in Conway, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Laura and Ernest Harper Jr. of North Little Rock. Her grandparents are Mary and the late Frederick Menz of Little Rock and the late Mary and Dr. Ernest Harper of North Little Rock.

Diane and Gary Baker of Batesville are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Adeline and Jay Baker of Ossineke, Mich., the late Sanford Cramer and the late Jeanette Rouleau, both of of Alpena, Mich.

The ceremony site was decorated with arrangements of white anemones, dark blue thistle, dusty miller and spray roses. Music was by The Little Rock String Quartet.

The bride wore a gown of ivory charmeuse with beaded shoulder straps and V-neckline, pleated bodice and gathered skirt. She carried a gathered clutch bouquet of white anemones, dark blue thistle, dusty miller and spray roses.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters Christin Harper and Caroline Harper, both of Little Rock. They wore midnight-blue chiffon gowns and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girls and ring bearer were Chloe Baker and Charlotte Baker, nieces of the groom, and Hayden Baker, nephew of the groom, all of Hendersonville, Tenn.

John Baker of Hendersonville was his brother's best man. Alex Vernon of Little Rock served as a groomsmen.

A reception, also at the Terry House, followed the ceremony. The buffet held silver candelabra embellished with wedding flowers and guest tables held arrangements of flowers used in the bride's bouquet. Music was by the string quartet.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is a Life With Baby enrollment specialist at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is a software developer for Apple.

The couple will live in Austin, Texas, after a wedding trip to Grand Cayman Island.
