CONWAY CHRISTIAN 63,

MOUNTAIN PINE 0

CONWAY — Conway Christian (3-2, 2-0 5-2A) piled up 530 yards of total offense in a rout of Mountain Pine (1-4, 1-1).

Jakob Henry completed 13 of 18 passes for 172 yards and 3 touchdowns. Henry also ran for two touchdowns.

Brendan Camp rushed for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns on 7 carries. Jon Mark Wood caught 5 passes for 58 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Conway Christian led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter, 42-0 at halftime and 56-0 at the end of the third quarter.

The Eagles held Mountain Pine to 140 yards of offense and forced three turnovers.

DIERKS 43, FOREMAN 10

FOREMAN — Senior Jake Green completed 12 of 18 passes for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Dierks (2-2, 1-1 7-2A) past Foreman (1-4, 0-2).

Green also had two rushing touchdowns as the Outlaws led 18-3 after the first quarter, 31-3 at halftime and 43-10 after the third quarter.

Junior wide receiver Lane Woodruff caught two touchdown passes for the Outlaws. He finished with four catches for 80 yards. Senior Tyler Kesterson had 6 catches for 111 yards and 1 touchdown. Senior running back Trendin McKinney rushed for 92 yards and 1 touchdown on 16 carries.

ENGLAND 42, BIGELOW 0

BIGELOW — Quarterback Brayden Brazeal passed for 330 yards and five touchdowns as England (5-0, 2-0 5-2A) defeated Bigelow (2-3, 0-2).

Brazeal completed 17 of 31 pass attempts.

Marc Westbrook rushed for 140 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Xavier Iverson, Darrius Clarkson and Zack Montgomery also had touchdowns for England.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY 44,

SPRING HILL 16

SPRING HILL — Tredarius Burks rushed for 237 yards and 4 touchdowns on 14 carries as Lafayette County (4-1, 2-0 7-2A) spoiled homecoming for Spring Hill (4-1, 1-1).

Lederick Lemay passed for 143 yards and two touchdowns, including a 70-yard pass to Lepatrick Miller. Cualan Williams caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Lemay.

Jacob Crow led the Bears with 118 yards and 1 touchdown on 24 carries.

PARKERS CHAPEL 33,

WOODLAWN 8

WOODLAWN — Dezmon Jackson ran for 244 yards and three touchdowns, while Reagan Cates threw for two more scores as Parkers Chapel beat Woodlawn. The win keeps the Trojans (3-2, 1-1 8-2A) unbeaten on the road this season, and they didn’t take very long for the first score.

On the first play from scrimmage, Jackson raced 67 yards to score and to give the Trojans the early lead.

Four minutes later, the junior reached the end zone for the second time on a 17-yard run that made it 13-0 with 7:29 left in the opening period.

Leading by the same score after the first quarter, the Trojans padded their lead by marching 90 yards on seven plays.

Cates hooked up with Canon Morgan on a 42-yard pass that helped set up a 17-yard strike from the senior to Amonta Harris that gave the Trojans a 20-0 lead. The Bears (1-2, 0-2) answered with Dalton Rissinger throwing a 4-yard touchdown pass to Trevor Monk that cut the Trojans’ lead to 20-8.

However, the Trojans immediately answered.

Cates, who was 4-of-6 passing for 131 yards, threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Morgan that made it 26-8 with 4:41 left in the half.

The Trojans nursed that lead into the second half, and Jackson capped his big evening with a 32-yard run.

QUITMAN 31,

CUTTER MORNING STAR 6

HOT SPRINGS — Trey McGhee passed for three touchdowns and ran for two others for Quitman (4-1, 2-0 5-2A) in a victory over Cutter Morning Star (0-5, 0-2). McGhee passed for 208 yards, completing 9 of 19 pass attempts, and rushed 17 times for 140 yards.

McGhee threw touchdown passes of 30 yards to Garrett Kennedy, 8 yards to Dylon Sipes and 90 yards to Michael Lewis.

McGhee scored on touchdown runs of 57 and 2 yards. Cutter Morning Star took an early 6-0 lead.

RISON 77, HERMITAGE 36

RISON —Bryson Marks rushed for 239 yards and 4 touchdowns and JaQuan Henry added 201 yards and 2 more rushing scores to help lift Rison (4-1, 2-0 8-2A) over Hermitage (2-3, 2-2) in a game where the two teams combined for 1,000 yards of offense.

Monta Thomas rushed for 186 yards and scored all six of the Hermits touchdowns. Among Thomas’ five rushing scores were runs of 60 yards and 52 yards. He also caught a 76-yard pass for his sixth touchdown.

The Wildcats got help from Jordan Brown, who scored on a 26-yard run, and from Chris Leaks, who went 24 yards for another touchdown.
