5 libraries to host program on ghosts

The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program is presenting a program exploring the ghost stories and folklore associated with historic Arkansas buildings and sites at five libraries around the state in October.

The Arkansas Haunted History programs will be held:

• Oct. 12, 5 p.m., at the Columbia County Library, 220 E. Main St., Magnolia.

• Oct. 13, 7 p.m., Max Milam Library, 619 Aplin St., Perryville.

• Oct. 20, 5 p.m., Carlisle Public Library, 105 E. Fifth St., Carlisle.

• Oct. 21, 6 p.m., Fayetteville Public Library, 401 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville.

• Oct. 29, 7 p.m., Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, 305 West Q St., Arkansas Tech University, Russellville.
