NASHVILLE -- Senior quarterback Leonard Snell passed for four touchdowns to lead Nashville to a 48-23 victory over Shiloh Christian in the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs.

Snell was 8 for 8 in the second half with 3 touchdown passes and finished 13 for 18 while rushing for 82 yards and another score as the Scrappers (12-0) built a 48-7 lead before Nashville's reserves gave up two touchdowns in the final 4:41.

Nashville travels to Warren next Friday.

Trey Hughes was Snell's favorite target with 8 receptions for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ty Pettway also caught two touchdown passes, one a 43-yarder for the Scrappers' final touchdown with 7:14 left in the game.

Quarterback Connor Reece threw a 9-yard scoring pass to Jake Nelson with 4:41 left in the game for Shiloh Christian (8-4), and after Shiloh recovered an onside kick, Reece completed a 39-yard touchdown pass to Nelson at the Scrappers' 1. John-Marcus Carruther scored on the next play with 3:58 left.

The Scrappers held Shiloh Christian to 86 yards in the first half, and the Saints never got closer than Nashville's 28 on seven possessions in the half.

Nashville's Darius Hopkins gained 106 of his 109 yards in the first quarter despite playing every down on defense.
